Market Daily Report: Bursa Malaysia Ends Higher On Continued Bargain-hunting

KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia closed higher, with the benchmark index rising 0.60 per cent as bargain-hunting persisted following the recent sell-off, despite weaker performances across regional markets. At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) gained 10.17 points to 1,693.43 from Thursday's close of 1,683.26. The benchmark index opened 3.19 points higher at 1,686.45 and traded between 1,684.36 and 1,698.53 during the trading session. However, broader market sentiment remained negative, with losers outnumbering gainers 666 to 477. A total of 574 counters were unchanged, 958 untraded and 12 suspended. Turnover fell to 3.41 billion units worth RM3.04 billion from 3.47 billion units worth RM3.58 billion on Thursday.

NCT Group Signs RM25 Million MOUs to Enhance NCT Smart Industrial Park

NCT Group, through its subsidiary NCT Smart Management Sdn Bhd, has signed five memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with various companies worth RM25 million to enhance its NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) in Sepang.

Key Highlights:

  1. NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP):

    • NSIP is a 732-acre industrial park with a gross development value of RM10 billion.
    • The project is being developed in three phases, with the first phase spanning 250 acres and receiving 60% bookings.
    • The park includes advanced infrastructure, AI-managed facilities, smart surveillance, and eco-friendly initiatives like solar energy and rainwater collection.

  2. MOUs Signed:

    • Honor Aigrafx Innovative Intelligence International Pte Ltd: Will introduce meta-experience technology systems to enhance collaboration and processes.
    • Harta Maintenance Sdn Bhd: Will develop energy management solutions to optimize consumption and reduce costs, using sustainable cleaning equipment and products.
    • JMM Lightings Sdn Bhd: Will supply essential building materials to improve energy efficiency.
    • Zinxer Paint Marketing Sdn Bhd: Will provide high-quality decorative and industrial coatings.
    • OK Coating Sdn Bhd: Will supply premium wood and metal surface coatings, protecting the park from environmental damage.

    • The collaborations aim to integrate advanced technologies and sustainable practices to boost the park's infrastructure and operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
    • The park is positioning itself to become Malaysia’s first net zero emissions park by 2050.

Capital A 股价下跌，因外汇驱动的第三季度业绩低于预期
