Jaguar has stopped selling new cars in the UK until its relaunch as a fully electric brand in 2026 . This pause means all remaining new Jaguars in UK dealerships are now classified as pre-owned , regardless of mileage. Jaguar, owned by Tata Motors' Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) , has been transitioning towards an all-electric future , initially set in 2021 following the UK’s pledge to phase out petrol and diesel cars by 2030 . However, meeting the UK’s zero-emission target remains a challenge. Currently, only 18% of new cars registered are electric . Production of Jaguar’s XE, XF, and F-Type cars has ended, and the E-Pace and I-Pace SUVs will no longer be available in the UK after December. This marks the first time since WWII that Brits won’t have access to new Jaguars . JLR’s CEO Adrian Mardell stated the brand will take its time to create high-quality electric models, with a preview planned at Miami Art Week in December . Jaguar’s luxury EVs are set to debut in summer 2026 .
