Market Daily Report: Bursa Malaysia's Key Index Ends 043 Pct Lower On Profit-taking

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia’s benchmark index closed lower on Thursday amid profit-taking in big-cap stocks, as investors shifted their focus to smaller-cap counters against the backdrop of weaker regional market performance. At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell 7.26 points or 0.43 per cent to 1,669.57 from Wednesday’s close of 1,676.83.  The FBM KLCI opened 2.61 points lower at 1,674.22 and moved between 1,666.34 and 1,674.44 throughout the day.   On the broader market, gainers led losers by 579 to 489, while 565 counters were unchanged, 1,016 untraded, and 12 suspended. Turnover was slightly higher at 2.79 billion units worth RM2.84 billion from Wednesday’s 2.73 billion units worth RM2.76 billion.

Jumble Station

It's been a while since I last updated the blog. Either I was too busy with my work or sometimes when I'm free, I cannot login to the blogspot. Not sure it is the S*reamyx problem or the Google problem. I can login to my gmail though. Besides that, not really have any idea on what to blog about. But anyhow, I feel like updating the blog today. My fren ask me to take a look at one of this blog. The purpose of the blog is to promote the Jumble Station - a community outreach initiative designed to raise funds to assist Single Parents in need some of whom are part of the Shelter Home Single Mothers Network. Jumble Station aims to economically empower Single Parents and the poor to be financially independent in the long run by owning or running their own small businesses eventually. The purpose I brought up the blog is not to help fund raising nor do anything to promote it. Just that I see that Jumble Station has one great vision - which is to economically empower Single Parents and the poor to be financially independent. The vision is about to same as one of my dream; to be financially independent by the age of 40 - currently still have debt over 100K. But I believe it can be done. If people who are poor or facing financial difficulties can do it, I'm sure it not be that tough for me. But besides earning for myself, I will donate to those needy. I will continue to work towards fulfilling my dream that I dared to dream - in fact, this is what was preached by my church's pastor. What a coincidence, LOLz!

Capital A 股价下跌，因外汇驱动的第三季度业绩低于预期

Market Daily Report: Bursa Malaysia Ends At Two-month High On Positive Sentiment

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia’s key index closed higher today on bargain hunting, in line with positive investor sentiment across regional markets, consolidating at its highest level in more than two months — a level last seen on Oct 2, 2025. At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 12.42 points, or 0.76 per cent, to 1,637.81, compared with Thursday’s close of 1,625.39. The benchmark index opened 2.83 points lower at 1,622.56, thereafter edged down to an early low of 1,622.03, before staging an uptrend to an intraday high of 1,640.36 in late trading. Market breadth was positive, with gainers trouncing decliners at 743 versus 387. Another 530 counters were unchanged, 1,108 untraded, and 16 suspended. Turnover increased to 3.09 billion units worth RM2.46 billion from 2.99 billion units worth RM2.35 billion on Thursday.
