Shares of MyEG Services Bhd (KL) surged to a two-month high on Wednesday after the e-government services firm announced a collaboration with freight forwarders to promote its blockchain-based ZTrade system.
The stock rose by as much as nine sen, or nearly 10%, reaching RM1.02, its highest level since July 18. By 10:30 am, the shares were trading at 99 sen, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM7.48 billion. Trading volume exceeded 92 million shares, almost double the 200-day moving average, reflecting strong investor interest following the announcement.
